Coral Rock by Bansei

While the city view rooms didn't quite hit the mark, staying for the sea view was a game-changer. The hotel has a charming, antique "old city" vibe, but the real highlight is the private beach access. The view alone makes it worth every penny!

All the staff were friendly. I liked everything. The hotel is located next to the turtle beach and there are many restaurants nearby. The room was clean ,with beautiful view. The staff, who name is Kelum and Yehan (sorry if I wrote his name wrong) informed everything and even helped to get on the bus.

Great Beachfront Stay with Friendly StaffI had a lovely stay at Coral Rock by Bansei in Sri Lanka. It’s a small hotel located right on the beachfront, offering stunning ocean views and easy access to the public beach. The staff were friendly and helpful, always ensuring I had everything I needed. The breakfast was also quite good, with a nice selection to start the day.Overall, it was great value for money—comfortable, well-located, and welcoming. If you're looking for a relaxing beachside stay, this is a great choice!

The location

It advertise a beach there isn’t one! Air conditioning first night leaked water out and then second night the control wouldn’t work so we was without this which wasn’t good with it been so warm

we loved the location and the design of the hotel that allowed a direct connection with the beach. in addition, the staff were friendly and very responsive to our needs.

things that would have improved our experience: a hanging rack for wet bathers and gear; a comfortable chair in the room for sitting; hand towels in the bathroom. in addition, the shower recess could have been cleaner.

The real perk of this hotel is the pool and steps right down to the beach, so wonderful. We also had a balcony overlooking the water, ideal for relaxing and watching the sunset! The breakfast was lovely, the staff were very attentive and the rooms were comfortable enough.

The staff were very helpful and the food was nice We especially liked the large social balcony space on the 2nd floor

I liked the location and the pool

Almost everything except what I wrote above. The bed linen was not changed once in 4 days, I stayed at the hotel with my 4-year-old daughter, but they gave me only one bath towel as if she didn't exist. You can only pay with physical card or cash. I don't want to continue because me and my kid tried to feel good and I don't want to spoil my memories. This is the fourth time I have arrived in Sri Lanka and this was the worst experience so far.

The location on booking.com was not accurate. The hotel is about 300m away from where the map showed.

Lovely hotel right at the beach, and with a nice swimming pool and terrace. We had a great stay.

The staff’s is really nice, perfect location, clean rooms, good value for money and the food is tasty without too much oil. Highly recommended this Hotel !

Overall a great experience from initial greetings to falling asleep to sound of the ocean waves crashing below the balcony was just priceless. Would like especially to mention the front desk staff who went out of their way to help us retrieve a mobile phone forgotten in the taxi. A big thank you to these people!

Our room was on the road side of the building but we still enjoyed it.Breakfast had great options and we liked it very much.Great pool where you can enjoy ocean view.

I booked a massage and expected pampering experience. Massager was good, but the space where they give treatments is bad. No sense of calmness, luxury or detail to customer care experience. Don't get massage here, find a proper spa.

View and Location was very good

Other than breakfast Buffet there was no dinner buffet. Everyday we had to forcefully choose from a Set menu at 3pm afternoon for dinner which is something I ve never seen in a hotel. The Set menu was limited to 2-3 choices and that too was limited so if u wanted a 2nd helping its like u were begging for food.For a family its not suggested
